With February 1st fast approaching, the service projects for "25 Days" are being finalized. Almost every day is filled, and those days which are feature unique partnerships between student groups whose members may not normally interact. A few examples:
February 14: SigEp and the Women's Center are partnering for Valentine's Day to clean Georgetown and prepare it for the spring
February 19: The Black Student Alliance and Women's Club Basketball join to provide after-school programs to an elementary school in D.C.
February 24: 10 student groups forming the Interfaith Council will be performing an Interfaith Day of Service.
For groups who still want to join, it is certainly never too late. There are three quick steps: e-mail info.25days@gmail.com to show your interest. Pick a date for your project and think about potential other student groups to partner with (We can help with that). We can also help you contact organizations around D.C. to serve with if you need help brainstorming.
The "25 Days" Steering Committee will help all participating groups solidify their plans by January 20th.
We're getting close, and we're getting excited.
