The fourth day of "25 Days" witnessed another group pairing. The European Club and the Vietnamese Students Association partnered to benefit the Georgetown University Hospital Pediatrics Ward.
This was perhaps the first pairing of such interests since the French ended their colonization of Indo-China. However, partnerships between the cultures may continue as the European Union extends membership eastwards. While it is doubtful that Brussels would attract the ASEAN member, Vietnam still stands a better chance than Turkey of EU admittance.
Excuse the digression - amidst such service we still cannot forget that this is Georgetown.
The European Club and Vietnamese Students Association combined to prepare care packages and make cards for the admitted patients on the pediatrics ward. Although the ward was not able to confirm the 4th as a date for delivery, the clubs look forward to dropping off their care packages and cards in the near future.
